Hello =)
I shoot my panorama yesterday, it is done and ready to be submited to
the server, just waiting the answer mail because is my first. Was a
good day, a lot of markets over the city because was sunday and was a
special sunday, the first from the holy week, and can i shoot in all
all them to a later choosing; the one i am going to submit has a nice
story, before i did the photos i talk to the people around to have
their permission to take the pic, you may know that some people didn't
like to be in pics, specialy the "indigenas" so in every shoot i did i
ask for autorization to avoid troubles, some times people give it, a
lot of times they go angry and refuse, in this special pano the selling
people was around my age and some younger, to my surprise all the
younger, and i mean all, use the net, even the kids around 8yo which
parents sell flowers or traditional medicinal herbals, amazing! isn't
it? well, the lady who sell on the floor say ok, the others around
agreed to be in the pic too and when i was positioning my tripod i saw
a men beggin standing up (sorry for my english but not sure if that is
the right word to translate "pedir limosna") i saw him and ask for his
autorization to be in the pic too, he smile and say that there was no
problem happy to be considered as part of the subject or environment
that my market has, even he strightened a little and stand still
possing to my series of pics =) in a very proud begging modeling if i
could say that, the people around was saying Hi to the camera, the girl
which sell "nopales" on the floor with yelow shirt run to the next
stand and left her sister standing up but my begging men stand still;
so my market has a little bit of everything, you may see all kind of
vegetables that small producers from around my city sell, some people
buying in the traditional mexican way, some modern indigenas (natives
from here) selling direct on the floor and a very proud begging men
wich gives my market place panorama an incredible human touch, so from
the real Mexico (not the one that is promoted by the tourist
agencies)and the people which live here, be welcome to the heart of my
city.
