Please excuse an off-topic message, but I'm after some advice in a
hurry, and this list is highly active, whereas the IVRPA seems very slow.
I need to get a new lens and pano head for an important shoot soon,
and I can't find any definitive information on how many shots are
needed with the Canon 15mm fisheye on a body such as the EOS 350D with
a 1.6 focal length multiplier. I know that 8 around the equator will
be about enough, but I think the vertical FOV will only be about 90
degrees. Does anyone use one for cubic panos? How many shots are needed
to fill in the zenith and nadir, and at what angle? My maths isn't up
to the calculation, alas.
