Hans - we are not worthy etc etc. By taking your advice and sizing the cube faces at 1498
I have been able to use 59% compression which has cured the problem and still kept the
file size within limits. I followed the same ratio for the small pano and that too is now OK
and within limits. Valuable advice indeed and I am very grateful.
There was no sharpening on this pano - since I've had my 5D\15mmFE combo I rarely use
it and then only as a high pass filter blended in hard light with a very low fill setting.
Don and Landis - I'm sorry that I declared my entry complete and then changed it but in
view of my problems I hope that you understand - I promise I won't touch it again!
