Hans - you are probably right about the 43 degree (or so) row
alignment. Th ecore of my pano head is home made and I might have got
the alignment marks I filed in the wrong places.
The cage with the tree, tripod and me in it together had almost no
room, so I think you are right about the alignment (I had to get
outside and release with a cable release after each rotation). I did
my best and the bubble level from my viewpoint showed it was
level...maybe not so. I need to practise getting it all level and the
nadir sorted - this has always been a problem for me.
Have a look at your email I just sent where I confirm your thoughts on
this after I re-visited my work - I sent you the project file.
My source for data on the Canon 15 mm at 1.6 crop suggested the FOV
was 92 x 61 degrees - have a look at
