About adapter ring and optical path, it's probably true.

My adapter ring is totally modified so I cannot test.

But mount adapter ring and use a fine file,
remove angle where collision can occur.

Wow Jean-Marc that is a really great panorama!

  The article I read here:

  http://www.pauck.de/marco/photo/stuff/peleng_fisheye/peleng_fisheye.html

Says that it is best not to remove the rear element because it is part
  of the optical path.

What do you mean by the adjusted Nikon adapter? Is that removing the
rear element or are you doing something else to the adapter ring?

Many thanks for your help on this,

  Roger
