Which is why I don't use remote control cables. 8^)

Subject: Transportation - my story

Hello list,

I was shooted my panorama from Ship-to-Shore Crane (Konecranes
Panamax) at Muuga Container Terminal (Estonia). It was at a height of
about 60 meters (very nice views from that height by the way ;)

And one incident there was happen. I call it:

Story: chance for upgrade camera to new one...

When I climbed to the crane, my first thought was about not dropping
the camera... And when was shooting a panorama from the top (not from
outside of the platform, but from it) forgot to lock quick-release,
and when I rotated the camera, I accidentally touched quick-release.
Of course my camera fell down from the tripod. Oh My God!

The camera was saved only because of a cable from remote control,
which was connected to the camera. It fell down to a metal floor. The
only good news is that lens was save, and only body had a little
damage.

So I has unwanted chance for upgrade my Canon 300D, but not realize it
;)

with best regards,
Andrei Bodrov
