Yes, basically the effect is the same as my adaptive dynamic range approach (www.fieldofview.nl/rd-adr), but instead of using two different exposures, I am using two differently focussed images. In both cases I'm using a 'mask' image to determine the 'blend' of the two images I want to display. The 'mask' in this case is http://www.fieldofview.nl/spv/dof/depth.gif.
Alright Aldo, how did you do that? Is it similar to the contrast blending
approach?
