I have been looking into catering for the World Wide Panorama
Reception, to be held as part of the VR Photography Conference in
Berkeley.
The reception is open to everyone who has ever participated in the
WWP, as well as all the conference participants. It is scheduled for
6 to 9 pm on Saturday, June 16, on the UC Berkeley campus.
We will be serving an assortment of California wines and local craft
beers.
And for hors d'oeuvres:
? vegetarian focaccia sandwiches (fresh focaccia with: roasted
portobello, brie, spinach and pesto; roasted eggplant and goat cheese
with baby lettuce and pesto; grilled squash, olive paste, sunflower
seeds, and lettuce)
? smoked salmon and cream cheese roll-ups (cracker bread rolled with
whipped herbed cream cheese, thin-sliced cold-smoked Scottish style
salmon, English cucumber, watercress, thin slices of red onion and
fresh parsley)
? crispy portobello mushrooms (wedges of delectable portobello
mushroom are breaded, fried, and mounded on a platter with a
centerpiece dipping sauce of roasted red pepper & garlic aioli)
? jumbo garlic shrimp with cilantro-jalape?o pasta
? apricots with goat cheese and pistachios
? seared ahi with wasabi aioli crostini
? marinated tofu with roasted eggplant and zucchini skewers
? stuffed medjool dates
and an assorted dessert bar.
