Pano of music fans queueing overnight
Keith Martin 2007-Aug-22 22:31:00
On Monday night I took my 15 year old niece and her friend to wait in
line to get wristbands to see Aiden, an emo-style band, play in HMV
on Oxford Street and meet them afterwards. This involved being the
first 350 in line, so we went the night before. I and a few hundred
rather manic girls (and a couple of concerned mothers) camped out in
Adam and Eve Court, just off Oxford Street, for the night.
I took my VR gear with me and grabbed a set of shots at about 7am
Tuesday morning:

After we all got the wristbands I took my two charges to Starbucks
and some of the only really comfy seats in the area (in the basement
section) so they could catch some sleep before seeing the band. I
have a photo of them out cold in two armchairs, but I won't embarrass
them by posting that as well!
And yes, I am now officially the best Uncle in the world, which is cool. :-)
