wwp@yahoogroups.com: Flash audio caroling 2009-Jul-01 01:11:00
I'm trying to set up a web page using audio from dv, imported into Final Cut, basically a QuickTime source. I can export it any way, such as FLV, AIF (convert to MP3), or MOV. I can't find a way to make the sound file work with my Flash panorama created with pano2vr. In Flash I imported the FLV for progressive download. Putting the resulting swf, skin, and flv on the page with the pano works. But they interfere with each other. Sound plays OK if I don't touch the pano. If I stop the sound, the pano can rotate. If it autorates or if I rotate it manually and the sound is playing, it is jumpy and rough.

Is it limitation of my computer (low RAM, slow CPU, etc.)? Is it the HTML/Firefox can't play two such files at the same time? I don't know what the frame rate of the Flash movie should be for one thing. I do want a controller for the sound. The only good way I know how to do that is with a FLV, using an Adobe skin. I'm really looking forward to the TIME WWP to see how it works.
Would appreciate help with any part of the process. TIA.
