Good News from the IRS

Usually a phone call from the Internal Revenue Service is not good
news. But yesterday I got a personal call from Linda Daniels, who is
handling our application for tax-exempt status, which has been in-
process for months.
She had one minor point to clear up, then said we were okay and the
letter of finding would be sent. This is the final step in setting up
the WWP as a non-profit foundation!
She said she really enjoyed looking at our site, and that she spent
more time on it than she really needed (for IRS purposes). She also
complimented me on a flawless application - most are sent back several
times for corrections or clarifications (it took me about 20 hours to
prepare).
Once I have "the letter" in hand our bank will waive service charges
on our account, and DreamHost will give us free hosting. They will
both also make small donations to our foundation. We can also set up a
PayPal account to accept donations, and solicit grants from foundations.
