Sorry it took me ages to get this fixed.
I'm tangled in a huge project at work, so I've been struggling to get anything done besides the daily stuff that absolutely needs attention (bills, food & sleep ... )

Anyway, the problem was in an older piece of code that read the height of the window to determine which size the panorama needs to be. I've switched this out and replaced it with a one-liner that uses jQuery (which I feel I can't be thankful enough for its existence), and now it seems to work stable and reliably in both IE 7 thru 9 (which is the highest version I can get on my Vista test emulator) and "all the others" (Safari , Chrome, Firefox).

Another thing I've (hopefully) improved is the way a non-existing flash installation is handled now. The krpano player package identifies two states, "can HTML5" and "can Flash". If a browser reports it can do neither, it now tries to load the Quicktime player. Before that, it would fail until/unless the visitor picked "use QTVR" for its playback cookie. This new behavior should cover just about all playback bases I can think of at the moment.
