Jook is a fantastic VR photographer - one of the
best. I however have mixed feelings about the subject:
of course war's nasty and unpleasant, unfortunately
sometimes it's the only thing that actually stops the
sort of people who built Auschwitz , who slaughtered
in Rwanda, who gassed in Halabja - and when it doesn't
happen sometimes the alternative's worse - like in
Bosnia where it happened too late to save the Muslims
of Srebrenica.
Pre the Iraq invasion some people thought they had
license, now they're less sure and the world's a bit
safer. Safer not from terrorism, not from the people
who planned 911, but from the sort of people who would
build plants to mill anthrax, to bottle sarin, to grow
anthrax - and most likely NOT use it on New York,
London or targets that could retaliate but to
terrorize, mutilate maim and kill their peers their
countrymen or their neighbours.

perfect image to take advantage of ghosting to create
