Some notes

The World Wide Panorama Marketplace is shaping up very nicely! So
far with just over half of the submission time we've got 124
panoramas uploaded. If you'd like to see the site as it's shaping
up, you can take a look at:

Please DO NOT SHARE ANY LINKS on this server with anyone outside of
the WWP. This server is for development only and is not intended to
be where the WWP will reside when we publish the event. On Friday, 1
April, we will move the site to the GeoImages server. At that time
your link will be:
http://geoimages.berkeley.edu/wwp305/html/YourUserName.html
(replacing 'YourUserName.html' with the user name that you use to log
in to the development server).
A couple of notes to help you fill out your information:
The 'TITLE' field should be the title of your panorama, not the name
of your company. (REQUIRED)
The 'GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION' field (under TITLE) should end with the
country in which your panorama was taken, and not be too long to fit
comfortably on your WWP page or the index - take a look at your page
and make sure that it fits on one line (check your title too).

'GEOGRAPHIC COORDINATES' are required. If you don't have a GPS, use
a website like http://www.multimap.com to find the coordinates of
your panorama. This is how the map index is created and is the only
way we can put you on the map. If you need help, let us know. You
can use either the decimal degrees forma or degrees/minutes/seconds
format. If you have a different format and can't figure out how to
convert to one of those, let us know. (REQUIRED)
A 'CAPTION' is not required, but is *strongly* encouraged. Please
write at least a paragraph or two describing your panorama and why
you chose it. Help us flesh out the site a little. We're looking to
build traffic and search engines look for text.
Any links that you use on your page should have proper HTML around it
and open in a new browser window.
ex. http://www.MyHomePage.com would become
<a href="http://www.MyHomePage.com" target="_blank">My Link Text</a>
A couple final notes:
Please take a look at your preview and see how it looks. If you put
an image in your caption or any other text, make sure that it doesn't
stretch the pages too wide (should be less than 700px wide,
preferably <600px).
Look at your listing in the index: is your title or location too long
to fit on one line? Can you shorten it and keep the same information?
The last day for submitting a panorama is Wednesday, 30 March. If
you are going to have trouble meeting this deadline please send an
email to #removed# and let us know what's going on
and how we can help.
