wwp@yahoogroups.com:
the site is growing already

I was away this weekend, up in the Sierra Nevada mountains pursuing my
own panorama of "water". I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Now
the next challenge is to decide which of my panoramas to submit for the
WWP.
Although shooting has just concluded the site is already growing. I
browsed through it just now and found 64 completed entries, from 23
countries. That is a truly amazing geographic coverage!
But don't worry if you are not finished yet - there is still plenty of
time to work on your final panorama. The preparation server will be
open for uploads, text entry, and revision for another ten days.
A few things to focus on:
- try to make your panoramas (both standard and fullscreen sizes) as
small a file size as you can, without sacrificing quality
- carefully specify the place where your panorama was taken, and write
a good caption that explains what is in your image and how it relates
to the theme
- if English is not your primary language, consider providing a
translation of the caption into your primary language
- include a short account of how and why you made your panorama
Thanks to everyone for their participation. I expect this to be the
best World Wide Panorama yet.
