Just to clarify rss is xml. see:
http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss

Here is a link to help make rss feeds:
http://www.webdevtips.com/webdevtips/codegen/rss.shtml

Here is a link to help make feeds more user friendly for pc users:
http://www.feedburner.com/fb/a/home

If you use OS X Tiger here is more information on using Safari to view
rss feeds.
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/safari/

The important part is in your browser knowing there is an rss feed
associated with your website. That happens via one line of code
placed in the head section of html on each page.

The code looks something like mine seen here:
link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="RSS"
href="http://www.beussery.com/georgiabulldogs.xml"

Please let me know if you need any help and have a great day!
