This has been a very interesting and informative thread to follow.
One question - mainly to Ken I guess, as he is probably best qualified to answer.
The majority of panos are likely to be viewed as full screens and
given the varying ratios of the vast range of monitors available, surely this means that an
ideal1:1 ratio is unlikely to be achieved as the height to width will never be a constant and
consequently the scaling will vary?
Any comment much appreciated.
