At last, the World Wide Panorama March 2004 site is ready !

My sincere gratitude to everyone who helped make this a reality. It was
a casual idea just six weeks ago, and now it is a wonderful resource
for everyone on the web to enjoy.
Special thanks to Landis Bennett, who has been working practically
around the clock for the last ten days to assemble all the pieces and
make this happen. Well done Landis!
Please hold off a couple of days before you tell ALL your friends about
the site. I have a new server on order (a dual 2gb G5 X-Serve with two
ethernet connections), but Apple can't tell me when it will arrive
(probably at least a month from now). In the meantime I am using a pair
of G-4 cubes (one of them just for the fullscreens), and I wonder about
their ability to handle the load.
I will be preparing a press release e-mail later today for the various
lists, blogs, and online publications. But, as participants, you get to
see it first. Enjoy.
