wwp@yahoogroups.com: Viewing VR on mobile devices john 2006-Jan-17 03:08:00
Hi everyone,

I'm currently considering buying a PDA to get my life organized, and am
wondering what my options are for potentially being able to view and
share my VR images using any devices. I'm just wondering what the
community's experiences are with PDAs and VR.

- Does anyone use PDAs to view/show VR images?
- Do any PDAs support quicktime?
- What viewers can you use?
- What PDA do you use/prefer, which ones have problems?
- What is required in a PDA, what is not necessary?

Currently I'm looking at things like the HP iPaq hx2490
<http://www.hp.ca/products/static/ipaq/hx2490/index.php> and hx2790
<http://www.hp.ca/products/static/ipaq/hx2790/index.php>because of their
built in WiFi and CF card readers, and the Palm LifeDrive
<http://www.palm.com/ca/products/mobilemanagers/lifedrive/>with its
built in hard drive. They all seem to have nice bright colour screens.
Any comments about these choices would be most helpful.

Any of your insights into this would help me very much, and I'm sure
there might be other people out there considering buying a PDA that
might have similar situations.

John
