I'm stuck on my full screen pano, which simply will not show the
Flash alpha transparent track in any browser except Safari. So
strange, since I can make a 500MB version and a 5MB version that both
work. But 2MB no.
I just read on the Macromedia Flash site that QuickTime 7 does not
support the alpha channel in a Flash track. They recommend going back
to QT 6.5 or less. This is bizarre. Why would QT engineering need to
break that feature?
Plus the fact that I've been using QT 7 with Flash alpha fairly often
without a problem. After a few days of this, I seem to be backing
down. I suppose even if I solve it, the victory is precarious, and
will be broken beyond repair in QT 8.
Discouraged, I am.
