I went out on my lunch hour again yesterday, this time to the
University of California Botanical Garden, conveniently close by.
Fabulous opportunities, hundreds of plants in bloom. My intent was to
make one pano in the middle of each of the garden's geographic
regions, but it was more than I could do in the time available.
I had planned to finish today -- but it's just too hot! East of here
there are official warnings of heat over 114? F (46? C) today and
tomorrow. But it will be cooler near the coast, so I will shoot
tomorrow and over the weekend in San Francisco.
I hope everyone is doing well with their "garden" photography,
despite the weather. I see that 43 of you have already begun setting
up pages on the prep server. But only 5 have uploaded a pano.
Early days yet. I intend to keep shooting until Sunday, then choose
my favorite.
