I must admit: your Nikon set DOES stitch without problems .
1. loading all horizontal images
2. stitch them
3. loading zenith
3. setting pithc to +90
4. creating corntol-points
5. optimizing ONLY zenith (image 6) using all cps
(all optimizing steps manually)
6. that?s ist

PTGUI (the latest version) detects the zenith and nadir automatically.
Usually no interaction needed. The most you need to do is set some control
points, and that's only 25% of the time (in my experience.)
