wwp@yahoogroups.com: some help gerardoant 2006-Jun-26 03:07:00
Hola! As usual I would like some help checking for my poor
english grammar over my caption. Please answer directly to me
just to keep the WWP list clean. Here is a preview of my
"garden" pano if someone wants to take a look:

Thanks in advance, Gerardo

P.D. here is my caption for review:

Last Thursday June 22th I went to the National Observatory to fix
some stuff over the Jurgen Stock Telescope. I was lucky because I
found some children playing over the yard around the telescope's
dome. They were there to have a day playing traditional toys: fly
kite, play marbles, spinning top, etc. I was playing with them a
little, some of them let my fly their kites! Near noon, when they
were ready to left, I ask if they want to visit the inside of the
dome to take a look to the big telescope and of course the answer
was a big "YES"!! After get permission from their teachers we went
up to the telescope and I started to talk about some basic
astronomy. Looking their faces an idea came to me: make a panorama
for this event as a "children's garden". I started to assemble my
photo equipment and their curiosity was getting bigger, all them
came around my camera. Meanwhile I continued talking about planets,
stars and galaxies I started shooting for this pano keeping them
around me. All were very funny looking me "dancing" around my tripod.

These kids live in small village down hill the observatory. This
town is call "Llano del Hato" the highest in Venezuela with an
altitude around 3400 meters (11200 feet) above see level. Their
cheeks are dark red showing the big hemoglobin concentration in
their blood necessary to compensate for the lack of oxygen at this
big altitude. The National Observatory is around half an hour by car
from Merida City.
