First of all, thanks as always for a superbly run event. The upload/edit server is a joy to use
(at least, once you've got far enough to get rid of the flashing icons!).
Just one small request: before the next event, could the details on the file sizes page (http://
geoimages.berkeley.edu/wwp/practical/Sizes.html ) be amended to reflect the actual sizes
enforced by the server? Struggling as I was to get something acceptable-looking in the
allowable size, I'd got a pano that was just under 700kB, as the page suggested, but of
course it was too big for the server, which cuts off at 700,000 bytes (just over 683 kB). The
size for the full-screen pano also falls into the difference between what computer makers will
tell you is a kB and what hard disk makers try to make you believe one is, though thankfully I
didn't hit that barrier.
Not a biggie - it'll just make life a bit easier at this end.
