Olivier,
If you're working a lot with D200 raw files, have you tried out the
following programs?
Raw Therapee. New, free raw converter. I just tried it for a few
images and found that the color and sharpness was very good. I
normally use Nikon Capture because the color, especially skin tones,
is better than the other raw converters I've tried. Silkypix is also
good, but the few images I converted with Raw Therapee seemed right up
there in quality with Capture. One drawback is that it doesn't have a
batch function yet. http://www.rawtherapee.com/
PreviewExtractor. Another free program that very quickly extracts the
embedded jpeg from the raw files. After discovering this I never shoot
raw+jpg anymore. The jpegs are great for browsing, culling out the
trash and cataloging, but you'll still need to manually convert the
best images. http://drchung.new21.net/previewextractor/
