technical update

I am back to civilization now, returned from the foggy north coast
where I shot my World Heritage panoramas.
The big news is that my new server (G-5 X-Serve) just arrived. I have
no idea how long it will take to get it up and running, so far I have
just taken it out of the box. It doesn't look like much, but is
impressively heavy.
I would like to launch the World Heritage web site using the new
server, including an ftp site for uploads. Please allow me a couple of
days to see if this can be done. If it cannot (I have other demands on
my time) then I will use the same upload system as last time.
So, if you shot a panorama this weekend, spend the next few days
preparing the QuickTime and text files. By Thursday I will have word
for you on how to upload.
In the meantime, please share your stories of shooting World Heritage
in VR.
