I quite agree!
Just the other day I was checking out our area of satellite imagery and
there were a number of panoramio.com icons that in fact turned into
small thumbnails.
(A couple of them got bothersome as they covered satellite detail I
wanted to study!)
I'm the only WWP around so just my solitary pin!
Google Earth is both fun and instructional and WWPs would really add to
that, and its' 'wow' factor!
I'm a novice at GE and not a member of its' Community as yet but I
certainly see this as a valued addition to both WWP and GE communities.
Well done for bringing this to light.
