Does PTGUI / PanotQTVR etc. support the DualCore technic at all ?
Or would be advisable to take a ONE core 4500 MHz system ?
Would XP Pro or Vista be an real improvement ?

Thanks - it's also a lesson for me. I went with the cooler - FAST - external
SATA system I replaced a slower USB ATA) - had I still been using the USB
drive, I could have accessed my backups from any PC. Since I still have
both, I'll use both from now on. But it was an excuse to double my ram,
pick up a dual core 3.2, dual sli video cards and a really fast motherboard.
