QuickTime Fast Start - Problems on Windows

About a year ago, I remember reading about problems with 'Fast Start' (using
QT Pro on Windows) & even seeing examples of these.
Yet when I prepared a 'VR' (using QT V5 as I recall) things worked OK...
Now (after not preparing a 'VR' for a while) when using QT V 6.5.1, the
problem (where the 'Fast Start' preview is not aligned with the pano) has
returned....

Anyone had this problem & more importantly does anyone know of a solution ?
