nikon 10.5mm fisheye VS sigma 8mm fisheye

Hi,
I bought nikon D40X and nikon 10.5mm fisheye yesterday. After
stitching, I found that there are two holes, one at the bottom and
ther other on the top.
Via searching internet, I know that Fullframe6+X mode should be
applied to nikon 10.5 fisheye. But I still haven't master the skill to
shoot those two X, one is for top and the other is for bottom.
Could some one give me some tips for these?
My second question is that, is sigma 8mm better than nikon 10.5mm?
Because as I konw, Drum mode can be applied for sigma 8mm fisheye,
which could make it easier to create a panorama.
My last question is that, how to use a logo image to cover the
tripod at the bottom of panorama?
