Subject: WWP editing and late editing
It is midnight here in California and it is raining - for the first
time since March. It is always nice to see the change of seasons, and
this has been a very long dry season, and a fiery one.
I went through all the entries in "Color - A World Wide Panorama" and
made the usual edits. Mostly cleaning up geographic references,
capitalization, spelling and typos. If I have inadvertently changed
the meaning of anything in your entry or personal profile, let me know.
There was some confusion about the end of the open editing period, so
I created a special "Early Late Editing" period, which has already
started and will run until almost midnight tomorrow - my time (Pacific
Daylight).
If you asked for late editing, or if you started an entry but did not
upload a pano, you should be on this list - log on and test it.
If you want to edit some more before the initial version of this event
e-mail me right away and finish up by tomorrow evening. I will update
the list in the morning. In particular, we want a caption for every
page explaining about the subject and how it relates to the theme. You
could also take this opportunity to update your personal page and add
a picture of yourself.
There will also be the regular late editing period next week, after
the event has been published. E-mail me Monday if you want to be on it.
Great work, everyone, I am sure you will enjoy seeing the final result!
