wwp@yahoogroups.com:
VR Photography books and Tucson 2010 Conference
Scott Highton 2010-Mar-22 22:03:00
Fellow VR photographers,
I have just received confirmation from our printer in Asia that I will
have a limited number of copies of my new Virtual Reality Photography
book available to bring to the Tucson 2010 Panoramic Photography
Conference next month (see: http://www.tucson2010.com ). This will be
good news for those of you who were hoping to be able to buy a copy
there, particularly those from foreign countries who expressed concern
about the relatively high costs for shipping the book internationally.
Unfortunately, I will only have a limited number of these available
(they are being shipped via air freight to me at an extra cost of
about $10 (US) each). However, I will be offering them to Tucson 2010
attendees at their cover price, plus tax, with no additional shipping
fees.
If you are interested in buying one of these books at the Conference,
I'd ask you to drop me an e-mail so I can get a reasonable estimate of
the demand. I'd like to give priority to those traveling from outside
the U.S. I also ask, at least until we see what the demand is, that
we limit the book sales at the Conference to one per person. If I
have copies from this expedited shipment remaining after the first
day, we can consider multiples.
If you are interested, please send me an e-mail with your name and
country, and I will hold a copy of the book for you to purchase the
first day of the Conference.
I look forward to seeing many of you there.
