Well, I guess I won't be contributing to the WWP after all. There are
no pictures on my CF card. It's as if the camera never recorded the
images.

I must have taken at least 36 exposures on Saturday of the two
locations I visited. I can't have failed to press the shutter hard
enough each time. I checked with a file recovery utility and what is
on the card is old; there were a dozen or so photos from the previous
week. These would have been overwritten by new photos. I have just
one card, so it's not like I have my cards mixed up or something.

The camera takes new photos and the card records them fine. So, I'm
not sure why things failed.

My plan was to contribute a pano of George Eastman's house. He was
the founder of Eastman Kodak and a great early contributor to the
development of film and cameras. I thought this would have been very
suitable subject matter for this region and the WWP.

Here's a test pano I made the previous week of his house. My WWP pano
would have been from a different vantage point, one that would have
shown the "Welcome to the Eastman House" sign and a cute statue of a
horse in front of a bellows style camera.

A more scenic pano taken that same day (and my backup plan if the
Eastman pano didn't work out) is at:

Oh well. Maybe next year....
