New quarter, new theme! It’s “Concrete”!

Hello all,
I've (finally, I know ?) update the Best Of 2016 event with the contributions from the Late Edit phase; and we have a new theme for Q1/2017. It is ? ?Concrete?! (as in both ?the opposite of abstract? and ?the grey stuff that makes most of our city buildings these days?).
Also, I noticed I had overlooked and subsequently not update the ?Next Event" text for our Best Of; apologies for that.
Here are some thoughts on the new theme, to get you started:
?Concrete? ? on one hand, it?s the opposite of ?abstract? (for those who prefer the challenging, less literal approach to panoramic photography; on the other hand the mixture of sand, cement and water is today an almost ubiquitous substance that has accompanied mankind?s efforts to create lasting buildings for thousands of years and has defined architecture in our modern world. From utilitarian uses to spectacular creations, concrete is one of the building blocks of our civilization. It is a very approachable theme; chances are you can?t take a step outside without encountering concrete in one form or the other!
I?m thinking about having an overarching theme of "Building materials" for the year 2017 (like ?Glass" and ?Wood? for summer/fall?) but I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, too.
