Back again, after weeks with issues … working on catch up.

Hello all,
sorry that I've disappeared from the WWP mail once again (first time logging into Yahoo since ... July, I think?).
I do still have many other issues going on that do take up a lot of my time and (that's arguably the worst impact overall) my energy.
Dealing with some health-related stuff (neck+shoulder joints), the workplace and a pile of other commitments over the last year means I'm not sure when I'll get back into a regular stride with the WWP, and two weeks ago my main computer got spontaneously totaled after seven years with sudden board death (yeah, it was a Macbook Pro 2011 ... the risky ones with the first-gen lead-free solder issues as it turned out), and after stuffing 300+ ? into diagnosis and a mainboard repair attempt it's now officially dead since after a new GPU and new power supply components now the GPU RAM has given up.
I do now have a company computer that I'm allowed to use in the meantime, but I'm still struggling to get my software environment back up and running between software that no longer works and new versions that do work differently ?now Adobe CS6 only runs inside Parallels on MacOS 10.6.8 emulated, and I need to find a way to recreate the whole self-made web development environment on MacOS 10.13 which only has become more closed since the days of user-serviceable Apple hardware).
