(scaled down to 2000x1000) from the NASA blue marble project
(website quote: "These images are freely available to educators,
scientists, museums, and the public." - so i guess this is not

I am new to the list :-)
a 40000x20000 images size it is amazing ! just an idea, it would be amazing to use zoomify viewer with hotspot and scaled the image less in the future ? ( www.zoomify.com/ )
ps : i am not a representative of zoomify ;-)
