WWP, IQTVRA, Sedona

Now that we've finished with another great edition of the World Wide
Panorama, Don and I are planning to head to the IQTVRA Summit in
Sedona. I hope to meet many of you there where Don and I will be
presenting a session on the WWP.
The IQTVRA is the only major organization of VR content creators. It
was formed several years ago when Apple and QuickTime were the only
real options for panorama creation and delivery. But technology
evolves and there are now many methods and options. The IQTVRA
continues evolving as well.
I see that many of you out there are Windows users now. I'd like to
help the IQTVRA reach out to the Windows and PanoTools crowds a bit
more than it traditionally has. Perhaps this enthusiastic WWP group
can help me out a bit.
I wanted to start some discussion here about (1) What PC-based
panographers want (top 6 items), (2), what folks are willing to pay
for, (3) how the IQTVRA might deliver on these needs.
We are fortunate that a number of factors are helping to popularize
interactive panoramas, including: (a) broadband, (b) digital SLR's,
(c) better software, (d) QuickTime installation on many Windows
machines (iTunes), and of course, (e) the WWP!
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts either through personal
emails or to the list. And I hope you'll all consider joining the
IQTVRA.
