wwp@yahoogroups.com: high flying pano bruce_hemming 2005-Jun-24 08:29:00
Just uploaded my submission - easiest part of the whole process! Thanks again to all
involved for making it so painless. For this WWP I was lucky enough to be back on Bequia,
in my opinion the most beautiful island in the Caribbean and possibly my future home.

For a watery theme I chose Orton "Brother" King's turtle sanctuary at OldHegg on Park
Beach on the Windward side of the island. An extraordinary story and a truly remarkable
and inspiring person, Brother King is always a delight to meet and I am very pleased to be
able to bring him to a wider public. If you ever get to Bequia do go and find him, you
won't be disappointed.

The subject (turtles move fast) lighting (high contrast) and limited equipment (no proper
multi row head) means a technically less than perfect pano so please be kind and
appreciate the spirit of the moment rather than the technique.

High flying? - oh yes, first stitch was made courtesy of Virgin's in seat lap top power point
somewhere over the Atlantic at 36,000 feet - is this a record?

Best
