ok, with much help from gracious WWP yahoo group members I was able to
download pano12.dll to the proper directory.
I have resized the canvass (a JASC PaintShop Pro term) to create an
equirectangular object with a 2:1 width to height ratio. background is
black, cylindrical pano is centered vertically (no need for horizontal
centering since the width is unchanged). so basically i have a file
that is 2000 pls wide and 1000 pls high.
then I drag and drop my equirect file (saved in TIF format) onto the
PanoCube executable.
poof. I get a panocube txt file.
no mov. grr. am i missing something? everything looks fine in the
script file.
shrug. now to try pano2QTVR.
