Thank you for you responses.

I keep getting "about" answers. Can't we find the"EXACT" field of
view for this lens.

I forgot to tell you I am using the Nikon D70s
The manual sais the sensor is: 23.7mm x 15.6mm
The focal length is 10.5mm

Using this formula: found here http://epaperpress.com/pano/
g = sensor width
f = focal length
h = horizontal FOV

h = 2?atan((g/2)/f)

h = 2*atan((23.7/2)/10.5)

h = 2*atan(11.85/10.5)

h = 2*atan(1.129)

h = 2*0.846

h = 1.692

hummm this is not the HFOV

Using an Excel spread sheet it sais
To express the arctangent in degrees, multiply the result by 180/PI

h = 1.692*(180/PI)

h = 96.944

Horizontal FOV = 96 deg ????????

I am assuming I am makeing a big math fubar.

Any help appreciated.
