I've stayed out of this - partly because I've been too busy with work and also because I
think that there is a real danger of this developing into one of the very personal clashes
which have plagued the QT list and other VR forums.
However - perhaps we should remember this regarding "ownership" of the list. We are
only contributors, Don and the team are the owners. In the same way that we can only
suggest themes, our role in this decision is only advisory.
If the team decide that this is the way to go then we should accept it with good grace - or
if you strongly disagree then you have an option to withdraw from future events.
I'll declare an interest here - one of my panos (not a WWP one) has been chosen for the
next VRMag Hotlist. Other than that I have no interest in, or benefit from, that
organization.
To remind yourself of what WWP has done for you try this - Google your own name. I now
have the majority of links on the first few pages - apart from the bug man and the, errh
"firearms enthuisiast" and most of those come from the WWP.
And so Don, oh captain, my captain - I'm happy to leave the final decision in your hands.
Everyone else, more light and less heat please, of course discuss it, but can we all act our
age not our f stop :-)
