the camping/terrain in northern ontario is one of the most beautiful in the world. truly. Toronto/Trauma is a scar on the face of the planet, but the north is unreal.
MAKE SURE you plan a stop in Killarney Park just sw of Sudbury. Its where the group of 7 painted, and its the nicest camping east of the rockies.
I hitched across Canada in 4 months one summer when I was 25. You are making the trip of a lifetime.
Placing bets on the number of German travellers you will meet on the road, in hostels, backwoods, and plush hotels. Those guys love to travel! You will meet a minimum of 17 Germans in every place you visit!
