But of course IE6 doesn't qualify as a 'decent modern browser'. :-)

Google "PNG IE fix" for the way to get IE6 to play ball, or use 
Yuval's suggestion. Heck, I'm sure a dozen of us here, myself 
included, could provide a specific working example of a fix if you 
need one.
