I'm looking at the live version and the event page version (where you
add everything) and there is no malformed HTML around the first words in
your description nor is there any HTML until the 3rd paragraph and you
last edited the page 17 days 6 hours ago.

I don't see that either. I see only "360° panorama" and "360°
photographs" but nothing like you describe.

It has been happening for years already.

No because there's no time for that when dealing with all of the
panoramas I have to go over and approve in the time it has to be
completed in. You can, if you'd like, ask me to put you on a
do-not-touch list then it will be passed over completely and the world
will see it warts and all but I don't recommend that (only 2 people have
ever asked for that). We all make mistakes, myself included, and it's
always good to have a second pair of eyes look over our work.
Alternately you can simply look at it after it's live and either fix it
yourself in Late Editing or ask me to change it for you in real time.

I have been thanked more times that I can count for adding value to the
descriptions and fixing the language and grammar (you can't imagine what
I see every day). This is only the 3rd complaint I've ever received.
