thanks for the bug report!
I have reversed the polarity ;-) ? of course "priority" of html5 vs. flash, and "pro" visitors can use the pano viewer preference to now choose from krpano/html5, krpano/flash and QuicktimeVR, or leave it on automatic.
If you have the time, give it another try to see if it works with iCab now.
Thanks for this reply. Unfortunately HTML5 is not the default, with iCab on my tablet it fails, claiming it needs Flash. Even on my Mac I would like using HTML5 which is smoother. I don't get your point about server request, the multires feature in HTML5 is a great enhancement to allow correct display on every size of screen.
What I tried to say is, with multires, a visitor looking at a panorama may cause dozens to hundreds of requests in rapid succession to the server, one for every tile being shown. This is considerably more strain and network overhead than e.g. KRpano/Flash requesting a panorama as one single QTVR file (which contains a quick-start preview and all cubefaces) which to the server is just one continuous file being transferred at once.
To at least compensate a bit for this, I've and changed the way the panorama files are being delivered, so that the web server does not invoke script files as it did before. So far it seems to work rather well. Better multires support is planned, but reworking the contribution server interface is at the moment higher on my to-do...
