PangeaVR 1.0 goes Final!
Brian Greenstone 2005-Mar-10 22:43:00
I'm confident that there are no major bugs in the thing, and I've
played lots of your sample pages that you've built with it, and they
all look great! So.... I'M DONE!
Version 1.0 can be downloaded here:
www.pangeasoft.net/pano/plugin
IMPORTANT: If you have a beta version installed YOU MUST MANUALLY
DELETE IT before running this installer, or the installer will do
nothing.
So, the next things to happen:
1. Tomorrow (Friday) I'll be sending out a press release to the Mac
media et.al. If you're still working on a demo page using PangeaVR and
want the URL included in the press release then you'll need to get me
that URL by Friday morning (Texas-time).
2. I need to go through the source code and clean it up a bit and add
comments. Then I'll get it posted somewhere. I'll probably just post
the code to the pangeasoft.net site, however, if anyone has a
suggestion on how better to handle it, please let me know.
3. We'll need to locate a Windows programmer willing to do the PC
port, and possibly a Linux guy too. This should be a very easy port
(any good programmer should be able to do this in 2 days, 3 tops).
4. I'm essentially done with this project, but if you find bugs please
let me know and I'll try to get them fixed. Major feature additions
will likely need to be done by someone else.
Enjoy, and thanks for all the feedback and testing you guys have done
for me!!!!
-Brian
