Sorry if this has been already discussed, but I don't think that I
could find it referenced. I received the following email a few days
back. I don't reply to these things and the email sounds too generic
to me. So is it just me, or has anyone else received this too?

I saw your panoramic photography on the http://geoimages.berkeley.edu
worldWidePanoramas website and was impressed by its clarity and
seamlessness.
I am emailing you to ask your permission to use your panoramic
photography.
I cannot pay for the work you have done, but would like to use it with
all your copyrights clearly visible including your name, name of the
work, e-mail address, and website. I am a CD/DVD author and would
like to place your panorama in an EXTRAs section of one of my
projects. This project is not related to panoramic photography, but
your work is a very good type of interactive photograph which I feel
people should be able to experience. Your images will be placed in a
Macromedia Director application similar to the quicktime panoramic
cube, but as individual squares projected onto a cube within an
interactive director 3d world.
Please tell me whether or not you are willing to allow use of your
work; I can mail you a sample if you would like to see where it will
be used.
