WWP Marketplace shooting begins tomorrow!

The Equinox is almost here. Time for another international VR event!
The period of shooting for "Marketplace - A World Wide Panorama" begins
tomorrow, Thursday, March 17, and continues through Sunday, March 20.
The theme is "marketplace", which offers manifold possibilities. It
need not be a lively street market, it can be any of a million other
places where goods change hands. I am looking forward to another
kaleidoscopic view of interesting scenes from around the world.
If you are an experienced VR photographer we need your participation -
to add luster to the event and help us to impress a wider audience with
how great VR panoramas can be.
If you are a newcomer or still learning we need your participation. We
want to represent as many geographic areas and cultural realms as
possible, and we need your creativity and imagination.
Only the Photography needs to be done March 17-20. Submission of final
panoramas will begin immediately after the shoot, on Monday, March 21.
The url of the preparation server will be posted at that time. The
deadline for submissions will be Wednesday, March 30, a week later.
Submission is done with a web browser form. The preparation server
allows you to register as a participant, upload your images, and type
in the title, place, caption and other data. You can view it exactly as
it will appear on the final site and make corrections right up to the
deadline. A preliminary version of the full site will be available for
viewing by participants only during the submission period.
The final site will be announced and available to the public on Friday,
April 1, 2005. We want your panorama to be part of it!
