Question on Pano shooting

Hi all,
I'm a amateur in this field. I have tried to create a
180 degrees scenery. I took about 30 over pictures and
stitched together. It turns out fine.
The problem is, each photos is around 1MB, as my
resolution set to 1200 X 1600 in order to get a clear
pic. So, after creation, it turns out in total, my MOV
file size is around 20MB, which is a little too big to
fit on the web to view smoothly.
Please advise how to solve this.
I notice some of you guys has very high quality pic
but only 200KB of MOV. May I know how to achieve it?
