I hope everyone got the word -- the upload site is ready. The first
dozen panoramas have been submitted, and they are great, every one of
them.
I enjoyed reading all the accounts of the day of the shoot, and how
different it was for each of you.
Landis, Kat, and I spent the morning in the Catvi?a boulder field, an
area of huge granite rocks and amazing cacti, as well as blue palms and
boojums. Don't know what a boojum is? Wait and see. In the afternoon we
drove eastwards and dropped down to the Sea of Cortez, hot and barren,
but a beautiful seascape. By 4 pm we were drinking beer in the shade at
Guillermo's on the waterfront. A great day.
